CliftonStrengths Coaching

  

The Clifton StrengthsFinder assessment, now known as CliftonStrengths™, is a personal development tool that helps individuals identify their unique talents and strengths. Developed by Don Clifton and his team at gallup, the assessment is based on decades of research and data from Gallup polls, interviews with leaders, and consultations with followers worldwide. 


Here's a brief overview of what the CliftonStrengths™ assessment entails:

  • Identifies Natural Talents: It measures recurring patterns of thought, feeling, and behavior to pinpoint areas where an individual has the greatest potential for building strength. 
  • 34 Themes of Talent: Through extensive research, Gallup distilled identified talents into 34 themes. The assessment sorts these themes specifically for each individual, highlighting their top talents. 
  • Four Domains of Leadership Strengths: The research identified four distinct domains of leadership strengths that high-performing teams possess.
  • Strengths-Based Development: The core idea is that investing in and developing an individual’s strengths can significantly boost engagement and lead to substantial gains for both employees and organizations.


The assessment is taken online and involves responding to a series of statements to determine one’s natural preferences.
